References to Next Day delivery means Next Working Day delivery that is Monday to Friday inclusive (but not including Bank Holidays and other Public Holidays) and does not apply to items that are out of stock. Deliveries to addresses outside of Mainland UK (Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Channel Islands, Scottish Islands) or Scottish Highlands may take 1 to 5 working days. Bulky or irregular items such as firesafes, white goods, notice boards, storage boxes, water coolers, large shredders, filing cabinets etc will usually take 1-3 working days but furniture can take 1 to 5 working days and specialist or made to order furniture up can take up to 2-4 weeks. Goods are despatched on a Next Working Day service with established couriers DPD, Federal Express, Truline or United Parcel Services but Stationery.biz have no control over their drivers or operations and Stationery.biz will not be be held liable for any delays to your delivery. All delivery timescales quoted are given in good faith from the carriers but they are not an absolute guarantee.
Delivery is FREE for orders over £100 (excl vat) or higher to most addresses in mainland United Kingdom and Northern Ireland. However a charge of £8.99 (excl vat) is made for orders with Goods totalling under £100 (excl vat).
Occasionally a large or very heavy item will require a delivery surcharge to be made, for example large fire safes, or anything requiring a two person delivery. If this is the case, we will contact you and give you the opportunity to cancel your order if you do not wish to pay this additional charge.
If your order originally qualified for free delivery but is subsequently reduced below £70 (excl vat) because of the return for credit of an unwanted product from the order or the cancellation of an item remaining on backorder, then your order no longer qualifies for free delivery and the standard delivery charge according to destination and order value may, at our discretion, become due.
We do not deliver to any country other than the United Kingdom.
Delivery is made to the specified address only and will require a signature. Delivery cannot be made to any other location. If no one is available to sign for the delivery, a notification card will NOT be left but instead the parcel will be returned to the carrier's depot and a further delivery attempt will take place next working day. A third, final attempt at delivery will be made, but then the parcel will be returned to us. We will then cancel the order and refund you, less the cost of delivery.
When signing for the delivery you must count and match the number of parcels, boxes, packages and envelopes being delivered to the consignment count specified on the delivery note. You should not sign if there is a discrepancy, instead notify us immediately. We cannot be held liable for a subsequent lost or missing parcel after you have signed for the delivery.
You should also immediately examine the full contents of your delivery to ensure there are no shortages, damages or errors to the delivery. Notify us within 2 working days, in writing, by replying to the "Order Dispatched" email we will have sent you, if there are damages, shortages, missing items or errors with your order. Claims made by other means or made outside of this 2 working day period will not be entertained.
Damaged, faulty or wrongly described products
Goods arriving damaged, faulty or which are wrongly described will be collected free of charge for replacement or refund but you must contact us, in writing, within 2 working days by replying to the email on the website, with details of the damage or fault. Evidence or a report of the fault or damage may be required.
Faults discovered after 2 working days will be handled subject to the manufacturer's guarantee which is usually, but not limited to, between 3 months and 1 year - contact us with full details of the fault and we will advise the course of action to get the item repaired or if applicable, replaced or refunded.
Unwanted (cancelled) products
Food and drink products cannot be returned.
Copyrighted products like software, music, movies, CDs, DVDs and video products cannot be returned if they have been opened or their seal has been broken or tampered with.
Consumables products (for example but not limited to inkjet, ribbons, toner cartridges) cannot be returned if they have been opened or their outer seal has been broken or tampered with.
Most furniture and dated, customised or made to order products such as diaries, calendars, events, stamps, clothing and furniture cannot be returned.
Unwanted or ordered in error products can be returned for credit provided they pass the food and drink, copyrighted, consumables, dated and made to order criteria detailed above and you contact us in writing by replying to the "Order Dispatched" email we will have sent you within 14 days of the goods being delivered to your address and the product is returned unmarked, undamaged, unused and in a resaleable "as new" condition and includes all original packaging and accessories and instruction manuals.
We must collect the item from the address we delivered to and we will deduct from your refund the cost of the collection which is currently £10 (excl vat)+VAT. If your order originally qualified for free delivery but by returning the unwanted product brings the order back below the free delivery threshold, then the original delivery fee will be deducted from your order. If you originally paid for delivery that will not be refunded. We may also deduct up to 20% in restocking fee from your refund if our supplier of the item charges us restocking fee for the return of the unwanted items.
We are unable to accept any returned product or refund any purchase unless it has been arranged and agreed in advance with us.
Products and Prices
All orders are subject to the ordered item(s) being available. If any item should not be available then Stationery.biz may substitute an item that incorporates the facilities of the ordered item, and Stationery.biz may vary the price therefore. Delivery dates or timescales mentioned are approximate only and not of any contractual effect.
Stationery.biz reserves the right to alter design and specification of any item shown herein without prior notification being given. Pictures and descriptions are given to us by the manufacturers and can be subjected to their changes at any time without prior notice.
Any product image shown is for illustrative purposes only and does not guarantee the exact colour, shape, size, capacity, material or build quality of the item. Product images are supplied by the manufacturer and may not accurately depict the product sold. Always consult the product's full description, features or specifications for clarification.
Any special offer shown is subject to stock and offer date range and may be withdrawn at any time and without any prior notice.
The prices charged and against which payment must be made will be those prices ruling at the date of despatch of goods. Your order is only accepted by us when the goods are despatched. Value Added Tax (VAT) is charged in accordance with prevailing legislation.
If an error is discovered in the price of the goods that you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible. In the event that you order an item and the price published on the site is incorrect for any reason, we will contact you to let you know the correct price and ask you whether you still wish us to fulfil your order at this price. We shall be under no obligation to fulfill an order for a product which was advertised at an incorrect price. We shall give you the option of confirming the order at the correct price or if you so choose, to cancel the order altogether. If you cancel and have already paid for the goods in the circumstances described in this clause, we shall refund the full amount in accordance with these Terms in the same manner as you paid.
No liability can be accepted for failure to read product descriptions, additional information, features, specifications on the product's item page or the instructions on the checkout pages.
We take any attempt of card fraud very seriously and we will fully investigate details of a credit card transaction if we suspect that a fraudulent purchase is taking place. We will notify the relevant authorities of the fraud, including details of the recipient of the order.
We reserve the right to void/cancel a credit card transaction and to terminate its associated order if a fraudulent transaction is suspected, and we are under no obligation to inform the purchaser of said cancellation when we suspect attempted fraud is occurring.
We will do our utmost to ensure that availability of the website will be uninterrupted and that transmissions will be error-free. However, due to the nature of the Internet, this cannot be guaranteed. Also, your access to the website may also be occasionally suspended or restricted to allow for repairs, maintenance, or the introduction of new facilities or services. We will attempt to limit the frequency and duration of any such suspension or restriction
